Biography

Dr PAULA CLIFFORD has lectured in French and medieval literature at Reading and Magdalen College, Oxford, and has worked in publishing. She has broadcast on Radio 4's ‘Thought for the Day' and presented ‘The Daily Service'. The author of A BRIEF HISTORY OF END TIME (1997), she is currently a writer for Christian Aid. She contributes to a well-known series of Bible study notes and is an Anglican lay reader.
