Andrew Fusek Peters Best-selling poet ANDREW FUSEK PETERS has written and edited over 45 titles for all ages – from poetry collections to picture books, storybooks, plays, graphic novels, verse novels and fiction. He has been published by Hodder, Macmillan, Walker, Ginn, Frances Lincoln, Barefoot Books, OUP, Bloodaxe and Evans. Now Lion Children’s Books are pleased to welcome Andrew to their poetry list with the publication of Mad, Bad and Dangerously Haddock - a collection combining Andrew's best material from the past 20 years, with new poems written especially for Lion.

Andrew’s work has been critically acclaimed. His verse novel Crash (co-written with wife, Polly) was nominated for the 2005 Carnegie Medal and shortlisted for The Stockport Schools Book Award, whilst his poetry collection, Poems with Attitude, make it onto the Carnegie long-list.

Andrew is also an experienced performer and has visited over 1500 schools since 1987 as well as appearing at the Edinburgh Book Festival and on television programmes including Blue Peter and The Big Breakfast. Some of Andrew’s readings are about to be added to the online Poetry Archive, making his work available for all to download.
