Pam Rhodes

PAM RHODES has been a television presenter for over 25 years, with a varied background in news, current affairs, educational and Christian programmes. She is now best-known for being the much-loved face of BBC's Songs of Praise since she began presenting this hugely popular religious programme in 1987. A sensitive and thoughtful interviewer, Pam has won a place in the hearts of countless viewers, proving herself to be as at home talking about painful life experiences as describing the history and architecture of some of Britain's most-loved churches. In recent years Pam has established herself as a successful novelist with The Trespassers, and Ties that Bind (all Hodder & Stoughton). For Lion, Pam is the author of With Hearts and Hymns and Voices, Living and Loved, and compiler of Colours for the Soul and As Time Goes By. Pam now lives in Bedfordshire with her husband.
